Tier III players (squirts, peewees, bantams and if numbers allow, midgets) have shown advanced skills and team understanding and have earned the opportunity to utilize these skills and knowledge in a more competitive atmosphere. Teams participate in a state-wide league which requires travel to multiple points south and at least three tournaments throughout the season that have, in past seasons, included trips to New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New Brunswick, Canada.

Try-outs are held, in accordance with state rules, at the end of the season and adjudicated by independent evaluators to ensure a fair process. Teams are open to players from MJBB and Brewer.  All teams are made of defined age groups based on the player’s birth year. The season runs from the first of October to mid-March. Included in the registration cost will be at least one competitive tournament.

Practice is twice a week with two or more games on weekends. Tier III players work for the chance to compete in the State championship.
