We Are the Maine Jr. Black Bears!
The Maine Junior Black Bears is the premier 501(c)3 youth hockey organization in the greater Bangor area, serving the towns of Penobscot County and beyond.
Our programs are designed for every age and skill level, beginning with our First Strides program (ages 3 & 4), renowned Learn to Skate - Learn to Play programs, and conclude with our 14U teams. (Our 16U and 18U teams are under North Stars.)
Currently, for the 2025-2026 season, our players compete in both Tier III and Tier IV levels.
Our competitive 12U T3 team has taken home the MEAHA Maine State Championship 5 times since the 2018-2019 season.
USA Hockey Zero Tolerance Policy
Any fan that violates this policy will be asked to leave the rink and will not be able to return to ANY MJBB event until they meet with disciplinary committee.
